Goal
To facilitate a stronger connection between the students-with-children and the community of Proakatemia by providing a space for children to experience Proakatemia with their parents.
Description
The main teampreneur demographic represented at Proakatemia is an early-20s Finnish teampreneur, and as such, most of the extracurricular programming is focused around that type of person with parties and activities catering to that specific group. But Proakatemia is more than just that – Proakatemia is international, Proakatemia has teampreneurs in later stages of their lives, as well there are many students who will not, or cannot attend those parties due to family obligations at home.
On the last Friday of November, every year, is a nationally recognized day for bringing our kids to work. And we decided to use that day to organize an event with activities and a paja for fellow teampreneurs to bring their kids to. In this way, we can let those with children to share their experience of Proakatemia with their children, and introduce that important part of their lives to the community at Proakatemia.
