LEARNING CONTRACT – Vinski
written on 14.12.2025
I was born in Hanoi, Vietnam. During my childhood, I was raised in a well-educated family where father’s side was military and diplomacy while mother’s was politics and military. When I was small, I was raised and educated in discipline, strictness but full of love and empathy. Before I reached the age of 18, I used to live in different cities and regions of the country, I have interacted with multiple cultures, further developing a unique mindset, different from people at my age. I loved philosophy, military, politics topics and also had a strong passion for Anime and fishing. I was not really a friend magnetic at that time since I struggled a lot at making friends but that didn’t concern me at all because I preferred to enjoy my own world instead of following others.
Regarding my prior work experience, I had more than 2 years of experience working at my mother’s cafeteria as part-time water. I also had 4 months opening my own figurine store where I eventually had to close it due to internal issues. Later on I also worked at Tamko as Deputy Council member and Member of Central Election Committee but it was a horrible experience as I didn’t feel heard there.
After graduation from high school in Vietnam, I failed the University entrance exam in Finland which meant that I was unable to study in Finland. Both I and my mother were upset and disappointed about this, but she decided to give me another change the following year when I was finally accepted to study at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, pursuing the major Entrepreneurship and Team Leadership. This was the turning point of my life as I never expected that a study program could change me like this. During my study so far, I have learned how to have a professional attitude and people-oriented mindset. Of course, as a part or learning, some conflicts and misunderstandings happened. Nevertheless, I considered them a good opportunity for me to be aware of flaws that I was having. I felt grateful with what I have earned from people around me who have continuously supported me during my path.
At Proakatemia, I have been super active in community activities when I tried to have small talks with other students, especially pingsters. I highly valued the vision of Proakatemia and I truly loved this place. That’s why I volunteered to do so.
Now, I am heading to a better future with my team Averi and my current career. There are several internal issues we have to resolve or come up with new solution. Plus, I am also working very actively on my Red Spider Lily project, along with 2 other promising projects. The workload is a little bit large, but I am pretty good at handling pressure so there’s no concern here.
It is fact that besides Proakatemia, I am also looking for jobs to support my finance but unfortunately, I am still unable to find one.
For my team Averi, I want to contribute more and more for it, making it become a high-functioning team, meeting the goals. I want to develop a deeper bond with each of the members. Moreover, in the future, I want to become Business Leader to collect more experience in practical leadership which I believe that I am still missing.
For my projects, I and my project team wish to accomplish the short-term as soon as we could since doing business in Finland as foreigners are quite challenging. At least, we are going to shift to implementation period as planned in April (Red Spider Lily project) and February (VN-TAMK project).
For myself, I want to develop my competencies, both in academics and practice because I find it vitally important, especially for long term as a business student and an entrepreneur. For me, it would be a total shame if I start a business without further understanding about it. Thereby, I want to continue with self-learning course of TAMK or create a co-learning seminar with my team or Proatemia.
When times come, I will remind myself to take a look back at the learning contract to see if I have met my previous expectations or not. I will then do a self-motorola that strictly reflects my performance.
